Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior QAQC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality control principles and have a proven track record in ensuring construction works meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with method statements and industry standards.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, addressing any defects promptly and ensuring they are rectified in a timely manner.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive QA/QC reports, plans, and procedures.
- Support the development of QM submissions and assist in preparing for yearly ISO audits.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on construction processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement quality control measures as per site-specific materials and Works Quality Plan.
- Provide training to sub-contractors and internal staff on quality control best practices.
- Issue and manage Site Memos, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies for assessments and recommend solutions for recurring defects.
- Verify compliance with contract requirements and follow up on required tests.
- Attend regular site meetings and off-site inspections to ensure alignment with project objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum Diploma or Degree in QA/QC or Engineering/Construction-related field.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of construction quality control/assurance principles is essential.
