Inspector (Container Inspection)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Inspector to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of statutory and non-statutory intermodal equipment (ISO Tanks/containers) within and outside Singapore. This will involve verifying the condition and compliance of equipment, identifying any defects or issues, and documenting findings promptly.

In addition to conducting inspections, the Inspector will also be responsible for providing technical advice to clients, collaborating with the manager to meet business targets, and assisting junior inspectors with inspections, contracts, and projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be proficient in using inspection equipment and software, and have a strong attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with tanks or at depots
  • Ability to travel around Tuas area (between depots)
