Job Overview

PSC Freyssinet is a specialist contractor providing innovative solutions for remediation, post-tensioning and civil engineering services.

We are part of the Soletanche Freyssinet and Vinci Groups, with a reputation in specialized civil engineering across soils, structures and nuclear sectors.

In Singapore, we are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join our Major Projects team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the tone for a safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Site Engineer to establish project frameworks for success.
  • Apply construction expertise to enhance methods and approaches.
  • Plan, source, schedule and hire site labour, ensuring the right people with the right skills and attitude.
  • Induct new labour and sub-contractors into company systems.
  • Monitor and direct team performance, including addressing disciplinary issues.
  • Train site labour on safety, quality and environmental matters.
  • Conduct regular safety pre-starts and inspections.
  • Manage safety incidents with the project engineer and safety coordinator.
  • Supervise site works through regular inspections, problem-solving and risk management.
  • Track site productivities against planned men hours.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 20 years' experience in segmental bridge construction, with 10 years' experience in Launching Gantries, Segment Lifters and Heavy Lifting.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large teams (50 people).

We are looking for individuals with strong leadership, construction management, analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in risk management, project planning and project management.
