Senior IT Professional Role

Description

The position requires a Senior IT Professional to perform tasks related to the support of broadcast and broadcast IT equipment and systems, including system diagnosis, remediation, and monitoring, system administration, patching, and preventive maintenance.

  • Providing technical support to broadcast equipment and systems in news studios and post-production facilities.
  • Documenting, communicating, collaborating, and resolving fault incidents.
  • Evaluating system vulnerabilities and providing guidance on remediation and mitigation strategies.
  • Performing troubleshooting and repair of broadcast equipment and systems.
  • Maintaining broadcast and IT equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • CCNA certification in IT networking is an advantage.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA are preferred.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Relevant work experience in IT, broadcast, or media production is preferred.
  • An understanding of cloud/enterprise system architecture.
  • Network troubleshooting skills and experience with managing and configuring networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls) are preferred.
