Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the work of the Meteorological Service Singapore. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working closely with other divisions to drive publicity, communications, and event management efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and manage public communications initiatives aimed at educating members of the public about the work of the Meteorological Service Singapore.
  • Support the coordination of local, regional, and international events such as school visits and regional/international events hosted by the Meteorological Service Singapore.
  • Support divisions on the production of publications such as newsletters.
  • Work with divisions to generate multimedia content intended for various online platforms such as social media.
  • Manage public feedback channels for the Meteorological Service Singapore and ensure timely responses to queries and feedback.
What We Are Looking For
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in marketing communications, engagement, and event management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong management and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask well and possess a sense of urgency.
  • Commitment to a high standard of service delivery.
