">Our client is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead various projects in Singapore. In this role, you will work independently on multiple tasks as assigned by the Discipline Director or Project Manager.
">- You will oversee the entire HVAC design process and provide technical expertise for specialized design projects within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Device industries.
- Assess project requirements, break projects into tasks, and collaborate with Project Managers to determine scope while overseeing budget and staffing.
- Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new HVAC systems and analyze operation of existing systems.
- Work with code officials and other design professionals when interpretation or exception to building codes is required.
- Assigns and reviews work of project design teams, checks progress, and alerts Project Managers of scope changes or additional services.
- Cordinates all aspects of project document completion within IPS, externally with clients, and with other relevant design professionals.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
">- 15+ years of mechanical engineering experience with 10+ years of proven HVAC designs in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Device industries.
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of central utility plant design experience related to chilled water, condenser water, hot water, and steam systems.
- Working knowledge and expertise in energy analysis and simulation software systems.
- Working knowledge and expertise in piping analysis and modeling software.
- Ability to analyze existing HVAC and central utility plant systems and equipment and determine applicability for use in renovation projects.
- Ability to perform target cost design work when projects have initial target construction costs.
- Ability to develop mechanical discipline-specific construction budgets based on project scope.
- 3+ years design experience related to cleanroom design specific to Pharma, Biotech, and Medical Device industries.
