Job Title: Career Opportunities for Occupational TherapistsWe are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to provide high-quality care to patients with geriatric-related conditions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity ailments, including fractures, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries, and nerve damage.
  • Develop individual rehabilitation programs for patients with varying conditions, incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, and joint mobilization techniques.
  • Implement pain management strategies using modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation.
  • Design and fabricate custom splints or orthotics for stabilization and support.
  • Educate patients on assistive devices, ergonomic techniques, and self-care strategies to promote independence and prevent strain.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive working attitude and strong teamwork skills.
