Marketing Innovation Director Job Overview

The Marketing Innovation Director will oversee product and menu innovation for the Asia Pacific region, working with global, regional, and local teams to build a robust innovation strategy and pipeline.

This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Regional Chief Marketing Officer.

Innovation Strategy & Development:

  • Identify innovation opportunities that are scalable across APAC, including reapplication of success from other regions.
  • Lead menu architecture analysis across categories and identify opportunities and strategy.
  • Develop and manage innovation pipelines and workstreams for key product categories.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and external suppliers to bring innovative products to market.
  • Implement brand culinary beliefs and ensure alignment across teams.

Project & Process Management:

  • Oversee the innovation process and set up routines, timelines, and supporting tools to streamline execution.
  • Lead regional initiatives to support efficient launches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in consumer marketing, innovation, preferably within the food, restaurant, or FMCG sectors.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the APAC region.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer marketing, analytics, and insights, with experience in product category and architecture analysis and design.
