The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating the smooth operation of warehouse functions by overseeing daily activities and coordinating logistics tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching goods.
  • Ensure the housekeeping, organization, and security of the warehouse and storage areas are maintained.
  • Organize efficient stock placement to ensure safe and accessible storage.
  • Update stock records promptly and accurately, and assist with inventory checks and audits.
  • Monitor adherence to stock management procedures, including proper labelling and storage of items.
  • Ensure proper handling, stacking, and storage of goods to prevent damage or hazards.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate transport scheduling and vendor management as required.
  • Take charge of logistics planning and coordination during team lead absences.
  • Communicate effectively with various teams to meet material and logistics demands.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and contribute suggestions for improving warehouse efficiency.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum Diploma and 2-3 years of experience in both warehouse and logistics roles, preferably in the marine industry.
  2. Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email.
  3. In-depth knowledge of warehouse procedure and logistics processes.
  4. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected challenges.
