Job Description: Machinery Enhancement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Machinery Enhancement Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our machinery enhancement group, you will be responsible for organizing activities to enhance machine maintenance capability and support for machine maintenance activity in each facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align policies and strategies with Japan HQ, other group companies in Japan, or other affiliates in ASEAN through collaboration.
  • Implement machine safety enhancements in ASEAN by instilling MMC safety standards.
  • Enhance network capabilities across all Murata maintenance functions.
  • Conduct Murata maintenance ability assessments in ASEAN based on Murata standards.
  • Lead maintenance enhancement activities by instilling Murata standard ways and technology.
  • Initiate regular meetings with Japan HQ or other group companies to address issues within your division.
  • Develop strategies with overseas factories to enhance machine maintenance capability in ASEAN.
  • Plan and organize training sessions for machine maintenance engineers.
  • Report project progress to Japan HQ.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electronics-related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in machine maintenance or equivalent.
  • Business-level English speaking and writing skills to facilitate communication with other overseas affiliates.
  • Logical thinking, conceptual skills, and good leadership abilities.
  • Proactive attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
