ICT Educator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT educator to join our team and provide expert instruction in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to students in a primary school setting.

This role involves creating and implementing engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse needs and abilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to excellence in teaching ICT skills to students from Pri 1 to Pri 6.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality ICT courses, focusing on essential skills such as touch typing, internet security, and multimedia literacy.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of various ICT software and tools, including G suite Education Apps and Google Classroom.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in ICT education, ensuring that course content remains relevant and effective.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience training primary school students in ICT software and skills.
  • Diploma or equivalent in an ICT-related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite for Education, including Google Docs, Sheets, Sites, Slides, and Classroom.
  • Expertise in coding applications, such as Scratch, Scratch Junior, and Microbit.
  • Proficiency in video creation and animation skills using iMovie and Powtoons.
