Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview:

Our company seeks a seasoned software quality assurance specialist to guarantee the excellence and dependability of our products through hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration with developers and product managers.

  • Develop, design, and execute manual and automated test cases that meet business requirements.
  • Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing across web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Accurately identify, document, and track defects using issue management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to review requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute significantly to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
  • Participate actively in code reviews and provide valuable feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Ensure test results are clearly reported and communicated to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of QA/testing experience in software development environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Diploma/Polytechnic, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with the following preferred qualities will be given priority consideration:

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
  • QA/Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).
  • Interest in expanding automation and DevOps skills.
