Hospital Drug Information Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to provide expert drug information and clinical advice to healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely drug information and clinical advice to other healthcare professionals and patients.
- Assist in the preparation of drug evaluation reports, assist with systems set-up, communicate formulary revisions, and analyze data on drug utilization patterns or adverse drug reactions.
- Collaborate with intra- and inter-department stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe medication use within the hospital.
- Participate in drug information/medication safety activities as required by Pharmacy.
- Train pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students in the drug information section.
- Conduct clinical review for appropriateness of medication orders.
- Dispense medications to patients, explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration.
- Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from an accredited University recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- 2 to 3 years of working experience in a hospital setting is preferable.
- Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and valid practicing certificate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of drug information and clinical pharmacy.
- Able to analyze data and provide recommendations.
- Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
