Cloud Security Expert Role

This senior-level position is for a Cloud Security Pioneer who will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of cloud security solutions. The successful candidate will safeguard data and infrastructure by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure secure cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional technical expertise, and experience in developing and executing cloud security strategies. They must also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Cloud Security Strategies: Provide leadership and direction to the cloud security team, aligning efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Promote Security Best Practices and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Design Secure Cloud Architectures and solutions, evaluating and recommending security tools and technologies to enhance cloud security.
  • Develop IAM Strategies to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.
  • Implement and enforce IAM Policies, procedures, and controls for managing identities, roles, and permissions.
  • Establish Cloud Security Policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct Regular Security Audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead incident response efforts for cloud security incidents.
  • Analyze Security Logs and alerts to detect and respond to threats.
  • Prepare and present security metrics and reports to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • 7+ Years of Experience in Cloud Security, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and 2+ years in a lead position.
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud Security & Infrastructure Architectures.
  • Relevant certifications, such as OSCP, CISSP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
  • Knowledge of Container Security and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services.
  • Proficient in Security Technologies, including IAM, encryption, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
