Job Title: Assistant Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced contract professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and compilation of tender submissions, including technical proposals, pricing, and contractual terms. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender submissions.
  • Analyse tender documents and identify risks, clarifications, and requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather tender inputs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders in accordance with client requirements.
  • Maintain and update the tender tracking system, and support pre- and post-tender clarifications.
  • Assist in cost estimation, BOQ review, and value engineering proposals.
  • Support the Contract Manager in negotiating terms and conditions for awarded contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in tender and contract processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in tendering or contracts administration in the construction/engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of contract types and tender processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office and contract management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in school and hotel project tenders.
  • Familiarity with local tender platforms and procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of legal and financial aspects of contracting.
