We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Reinsurance Contracts Expert/Counsel. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing reinsurance contracts, ensuring alignment with business intent and corporate requirements.
This includes performing portfolio analysis to identify trends related to contract risks and collaborating with Client Managers and Underwriters in contract negotiations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Draft and critique reinsurance contracts, binders, slips, endorsements, and related documents
- Perform portfolio analysis and provide insights on trends related to contract risks
- Collaborate with Client Managers and Underwriters in contract negotiations
**Requirements**
- 5+ years of (re)insurance industry experience
- Degree in common/English law or (re)insurance studies
- Solid understanding of P&C (re)insurance policy wordings, coverage, product, and business processes
- Good skill and confidence in commercial/(re)insurance coverage agreement drafting
