We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Risk Management Group, specifically the Credit Control Unit. As an AVP, Specialist, Credit Documentation, you will be responsible for managing risk exposure by ensuring compliance with approved terms in credit memos for Corporate customers. This involves working closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk Managers to review facility and collateral documents, perform pre-activation documentation checks, and track limit exposures. In addition, you will assess system or process changes, enhance controls, and manage resource requirements for data conversion exercises.
Responsibilities
- Manage risk exposure by ensuring compliance with approved terms in credit memos for Corporate customers;
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk Managers to review facility and collateral documents;
- Perform pre-activation documentation checks and ensure conditions precedent met, collaterals in place and compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines prior to activation of credit facility limits;
- Review insurance policies for collaterals charged to the Bank and ensure that the Bank's interests are properly insured;
- Assess system or process changes and enhance controls to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
