Iron Ore Price Analyst

As an Iron Ore Price Analyst, you will play a vital role in expanding our team's expertise in steel raw materials. You will be responsible for gathering daily and weekly price data and providing market intelligence updates on relevant market information.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts in the Singapore iron ore trading community.
  • Gather daily price information for major seaborne iron ore prices.
  • Garner market intelligence covering shifts in consumption patterns of iron ore, impacts of policy and macro-economic conditions, and developments in the steel sector.


**Requirements:**
  • Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in Journalism, English, Finance or Business.
  • 2-4 years of experience in commodities. Iron ore or ferrous markets experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and commodity data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage market participants daily and build lasting industry relationships.
  • Curiosity about markets and news is essential.
