Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infectious Diseases Specialist to join our team at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). As a key member of our Division of Infectious Diseases, you will provide consultation on infectious disease-related matters for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist consultations to inpatient services;
  • Run outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT) clinic and antimicrobial stewardship (ASP) session;
  • Contribute to inpatient GM ward services and supervise inpatient care;
  • Provide teaching and supervision to junior medical staff and medical students;
  • Provide subject matter expertise inputs to infection control and prevention;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Division and Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • Possess medical qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
  • Eligible for Conditional or Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council;
  • Completed specialist training with qualification registrable with the Specialist Accreditation Board;
  • Registered as a specialist doctor in the country of where the specialist training was completed;
  • Be in active clinical practice in the past 3 years in the relevant specialty;
  • Provide evidence of English language proficiency and meet the score specified by the Singapore Medical Council if the basic medical qualification is not conducted in English language.
