Clinical Research Coordinator Role Overview

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) serves as a pivotal support function for investigators conducting investigator-initiated clinical trials.

Responsibilities and Objectives
  • Ensure that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, all applicable regulatory requirements, and the Clinical Trials Operations' Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Implement effective recruitment strategies to accomplish the study's target enrollment within agreed-upon study timelines or shorter.
  • Maintain timely communication with the study team through regular discussions, email updates, or team meetings to ensure optimal subject screening and recruitment rates.
  • Foster good working relationships and collaborate effectively across all streams to enhance operational efficiency.

Priorities

  • Collaborate closely with research teams to plan and conduct high-quality studies.
  • Monitor progress against project timelines, communicating any delays or challenges promptly.
  • Deliver accurate, compliant invoicing according to contractual agreements.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently. A thorough understanding of GCP guidelines and research regulations is also essential.
