Job Overview

Market Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our market supervision activities. This role requires a skilled professional to lead and coordinate market supervision tasks across multiple asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for managing staff shift patterns, allocating supervision responsibilities, conducting policy and procedure reviews, preparing monthly reports, and resolving trade disputes efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff shift patterns/leave and allocate supervision responsibilities accordingly.
  • Conduct annual policy and procedure reviews incorporating Sales, Market Regulation, and other related departments.
  • Prepare and present monthly departmental reports to senior management across various exchanges.
  • Oversee investigations of trades which are potentially away from value.
  • Resolve trade disputes efficiently, accurately, and in line with published policy and documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or similar preferred.
  • Experience working within financial markets, especially relating to derivatives, is preferred but not essential.
