About the Role:

Delivering high-quality lessons to children aged 3 and above is a key responsibility of this Swim Coach position. The ideal candidate will inspire beginners while nurturing aspiring competitive swimmers with sound technical instruction and training planning.

This role involves teaching foundational swimming skills, managing small group or private classes, tracking progress, and communicating clearly with parents and guardians. Additionally, the coach will assist with SwimSafer assessments and school events as required, maintain a professional presence on the pool deck, ensure safety protocols are upheld, and attend coach meetings and workshops when scheduled.

The requirements for this position include being certified in LTS Coaching, having minimum 2 years coaching experience, good understanding of swimmer development stages (ages 3–14), strong communication, patience, and class management skills. Availability to work weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends, as well as current CPR + AED certification (or be willing to obtain) are also essential.
