The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at NTU is actively seeking outstanding candidates to fill a tenure track position at the level of Assistant/Associate or tenured Full Professor. This position targets individuals with profound research expertise in cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) techniques.
The ideal candidate shall possess a clearly articulated research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in premier journals. They will establish and maintain an independent research group in SBS/NTU, dedicated to gaining nanometer to near atomic scale insights into macromolecular complexes within their native cellular contexts using cryo-ET techniques. Furthermore, they are expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching.
SBS covers several areas of research encompassing genetic, structural, biochemical, and cellular investigator-led projects, offering many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations not only within the school but also with other schools in the university.
