About the Role:

Masters Career Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Battery Cell Design Engineer with a focus on quality to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. They will be responsible for implementing design activities such as New Product Introduction, Line Expansion, Design Changes, etc.

This includes designing battery cells for Power Tools (PT), Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE), and Battery Backup Unit (BBU). The candidate will also be involved in Design Review & Standardization for quality improvement, including yield and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement design activities such as New Product Introduction, Line Expansion, Design Changes, etc.
  • Design battery cells for Power Tools (PT), Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE), and Battery Backup Unit (BBU)
  • Support quality trouble investigations, including cell performance risks assessment
  • Perform cell analysis for cell design verification and evaluation or defect root cause investigation
  • Analyze engineering test results
  • Perform tasks or projects assigned
