The Role of an Art Instructor

Our school is seeking a qualified Art Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring young artists, and be able to create a fun and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement art curriculum lessons in group settings.
  • Educate and nurture children to express their artistic abilities and creativity through principles of art and techniques.
  • Demonstrate various art techniques in activities including drawing and painting.
  • Provide guidance on developing aesthetic concepts and appreciations in children.
  • Teach children proper care and use of art materials and tools.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that facilitates positive learning and development.
  • Encourage children to express their own personalities and thoughts through creative processes.
  • Evaluate each child's performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understandings.
  • Provide quality feedback on children's development progress.
  • Participate in campus events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Arts or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a classroom setting is an added advantage.
  • Candidates who are innovative, highly driven, and take initiative are encouraged to apply.
