The Distribution Growth Support Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks through robust assessments and monitoring.
This role leads the Distribution Growth Support & Compliance function to deliver a seamless onboarding experience across distribution channels, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through Fit & Proper assessments and monitoring.
- Review and escalate Fit & Proper assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic monitoring activities, including reviews with distribution channels.
- Provide management reporting on distribution channel cohorts and profiles.
- Conduct regular fit & proper monitoring & assessment, including screening and annual declarations.
- Oversee daily credit monitoring for distribution channels.
- Review and maintain Fit & Proper frameworks and SOPs in accordance with regulatory notices and changes.
- Conduct fraud detection exercises on a regular basis.
- Represent the team as Risk & Compliance representative.
- Provide regular reports for management and industry reporting.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to streamline agent-related transactions.
- Lead high-performing teams to achieve operational goals.
- Manage internal and external audit requests.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Strong familiarity with regulatory guidelines, including MAS RNF and other relevant notices.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in insurance distribution operations or regulatory compliance.
- Experience in Fit & Proper assessments and enhanced monitoring protocols.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with focus on process optimization and automation.
