JOB SCOPE

1) Execute Daily Operations

Set up work area at the beginning of the shift and ensure all tools and necessary materials are prepared. Stay informed about internal promotions and familiarize yourself with the local community and notable events to provide suitable recommendations to guests. Greet guests upon their arrival at the entrances, addressing inquiries and fulfilling their needs. Manage guest flow at the entrance by directing them to designated queues while engaging with them to enhance their arrival and departure experience. Adapt to changes and ensure compliance with organizational procedures and service standards. Handle luggage for both incoming and outgoing guests and groups, ensuring proper handling, tagging, and delivery. Rotate duties at the curb and collaborate closely with the Bell Captain and Supervisor to ensure a seamless guest experience. Be trained in using luggage handling equipment such as bell carts and birdcage trolleys. Involve in learning and applying property management systems and dispatching systems. Deliver incoming items to guest rooms as requested by the Guest Services team or guests. Maintain the luggage room and trolleys, ensuring proper organization and a hazard-free environment. Address baggage-related requests such as storage and repairs. Sort and deliver daily newspapers to VIP rooms and scheduled rooms. Process guest requests, ensuring they are forwarded to the appropriate department when necessary. Maintain close communication with all departments to understand operational flow and ensure a seamless guest experience.

2) Deliver Service and Operational Excellence

Provide outstanding customer service to guests and fellow employees at all times. Collect and update guest information and preferences to maintain accurate profiles in the system. Suggest innovative ideas to enhance guest experiences and contribute to revenue generation.

3) Manage Operational Risks

Be knowledgeable about safety regulations and reinforce safety guidelines. Report and document incidents requiring management attention, including vandalism, accidents, etc. Monitor activities in both front and back areas, reporting any suspicious behavior to security. Respond to emergency situations effectively. Address guest requests as long as they are safe and appropriate.

4) Engage in Employee Participation

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company standards. Foster positive relationships with team members by embracing the company culture. Demonstrate self-motivation for continuous learning and development. Assist Guest Service Agents with room assignments during check-in. Mentor new team members in front desk operations after their training.

5) Participate in Documentation and Financial Management

Attend departmental meetings as required. Review processes for workflow and productivity improvements. Perform administrative tasks such as inventory management and report filing. Monitor supply usage to ensure budget compliance and minimize waste. Contribute ideas that align with the company’s vision and values. Engage in sustainability initiatives to support organizational goals. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Minimum secondary education.

Required Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Strong guest relations and problem-solving skills. Effective planning and execution abilities. Good time management, organizational, communication, and motivational skills. Adhere to attendance guidelines and company policies.

Required Knowledge

Proficient in PC usage and typing. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Skills / Abilities / Presence

Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus. Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills. Mature, meticulous, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently. Team player who takes initiative to assist colleagues. Strong follow-through with a positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours. Professional and well-groomed appearance.
