Maritime Navigation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NAVCOM Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced navigation systems for the maritime industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine electronics and proven track record of designing and developing complex navigation systems. Strong communication and project management skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced navigation systems for the maritime industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of navigation systems with other onboard systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest navigation technologies and trends by collaborating with external partners and vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in NAVCOM engineering with a strong background in marine electronics.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing complex navigation systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training from OEMs/manufacturers on navigational equipment.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools.
  • Experience handling port-related entry and formalities in Asia.
