About This Role:
We are seeking an experienced Computer Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance computing systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering or electrical engineering, with a deep understanding of hardware architecture, storage systems, and network protocols. Experience with Linux systems, HPC systems, and cloud-based computing architectures is also highly desirable.
In this role, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design and deploy cutting-edge computing systems that meet the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for generating HW BOMs, providing vendor management, and overseeing HW release activities.
You will also utilize your technical expertise to configure operating systems, assemble project specifications, and adhere to project timelines. Additionally, you will support design and release of new products to manufacturing and provide quality golden images, procedures, scripts, and documentation to the manufacturing team and customer support team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance computing systems
- Generate HW BOMs and provide vendor management
- Oversee HW release activities
- Configure operating systems and assemble project specifications
- Adhere to project timelines and support design and release of new products
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Validated in-depth knowledge of Linux systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
- Experience with maintaining and interacting with robust storage
- HPC HW knowledge especially in the server, GPU, networking, Storage, BIOS & BMC arenas
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and knowledge of protocols, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP
- Ability to code and develop Shell and Python scripts
- Experience with one or more of the listed Configuration Mgmt utilities (Salt, Chef, Puppet etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a strong DevOps focus
- Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipeline (Jenkins), Repository software (Git-based), Singularity & Docker Containers
- Kubernetes, Prometheus & Grafana experience
- Knowledge of Apache/Nginx, Setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (HA Proxy)
