Asia Pacific Underwriting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled underwriter to join our team in the Asia Pacific General Casualty Division. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing large, complex, or specialist cases across Asia.
Your primary objective will be to apply underwriting disciplines and guidelines to meet projected profitability, gross written premium (GWP), and expense goals. This includes marketing and servicing existing and potential clients, as well as the administration and monitoring of underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating rules and models.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience in underwriting, preferably in the general casualty division
- A strong understanding of underwriting disciplines, guidelines, and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
