Supply Chain Director

The Supply Chain Director will lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, encompassing procurement, planning, logistics, and supplier management.

This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated strategies that enhance operational efficiency, ensure supply continuity, and support the company's growth and financial goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and market demands.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain including procurement, demand/supply planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and digital tools to enhance supply chain efficiency and agility.
  • Lead all procurement activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure optimal terms on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to support continuity, innovation, and value creation.
  • Lead robust demand planning processes in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Utilize historical data, market trends, and customer inputs to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Translate forecasts into effective supply and inventory plans to ensure optimal product availability and working capital management.
  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align on forecasts, address imbalances, and enable informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must hold at least a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or planning roles within the FMCG or food industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems, demand planning tools, and supply chain analytics is highly desirable.
