Strategic Research Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive the development of our execution research capabilities across equities and listed asset classes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create a comprehensive research strategy for execution research, encompassing multi-asset quantitative analysis and market microstructure expertise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative quantitative solutions that enhance execution outcomes and inform decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the optimization of counterparty selection, algo and venue selection, market impact modeling, intraday trade scheduling, and execution strategy.
  • Analyze drivers of execution performance and develop frameworks for their assessment.
  • Identify and link themes, concepts, and ideas across asset classes to deliver insightful market analysis from a liquidity and microstructure perspective.
About the Role

This position requires an individual with extensive experience in equity markets, possessing a deep understanding of market microstructure and liquidity. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering proactive analysis and data-driven consultancy to internal stakeholders.

Key Skills
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, mathematics, computer science).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in execution research or a related field.
  • Expertise in market microstructure, liquidity, and quantitative analysis.
