Job Title: Senior Food Production SpecialistJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Food Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are produced while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes, menus, and presentation instructions.
  • Maintain stock inventory levels, ensure all storage areas are tidy, and products are stored properly.
  • Store all food safely and mark dates and items accordingly.
  • Monitor temperature records daily and maintain cleanliness throughout the production area.
  • Properly handle kitchen equipment and report any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Ensure high health and safety standards, cleanliness, and food hygiene practices are followed.
  • Report incidents or failures to meet performance standards to higher authority.
  • Comply with grooming and appearance standards at all times.
  • Act in the best interest of the company in all circumstances.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with various food products, ingredients, and recipes.
  • Recipes: Ability to follow and prepare food according to established recipes.
  • Ingredients: Knowledge of different ingredients, their uses, and handling procedures.
  • Verbal Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Cooking: Skilled in cooking techniques, including preparing and presenting food.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Inventory Management: Experience in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory control.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene.
  • Stock Taking and Checks: Ability to conduct regular stock takes and checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assembly and Presentation: Skill in assembling and presenting food to meet customer expectations.
  • Culinary Skills: Proficiency in various culinary techniques, including preparation, cooking, and presentation.
