About the Role

Shutterstock Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Growth & Essential Account team across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The successful candidate will be based in our regional headquarters in Singapore and report to the Senior Director of APAC Sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise sales department, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Manage a team of Client Partners and Customer Success Managers to drive customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and market share expansion.
  • Develop and execute a new business acquisition strategy for the markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve success.
  • Take ownership of the Growth & Essential team's performance across all verticals - Corporate, Agency, and Media - in the region.
  • Mentor and develop the skills and strategic thinking of team members through coaching on account development and new business acquisition.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with various departments of key clients, including Marketing, PR, Media, Brand, and Procurement.
  • Represent Shutterstock as an external ambassador and brand advocate across all verticals within our Growth & Essential tier of accounts in the region, attending industry events as required.
  • Contribute to the development of enterprise sales products and strategy based on long-term customer needs, creating actionable annual plans and 3-year outlooks.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor strategies across the enterprise sales landscape in the region.
  • Provide input on marketing and content strategies relevant to key customer segments.
  • Act as a market expert within the organization for enterprise sales.
  • Travel to markets across SEA and AU to engage with customers as required.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of sales management experience, preferably from a background in technology, creative agencies, media, or marketing industries.
  • Ability to analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
  • Proven track record of successful sales exceeding goals and quotas.
  • Proven track record of building sales team strategy.
  • Experience selling enterprise-level solutions to large organizations.
  • History of gaining access to high-level decision makers controlling large budgets and understanding the unique needs of customers, different business models, and being willing and able to customize deals to present solutions.
  • Strong belief in and passion for Shutterstock's market value and potential.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances that come with managing an international team.
  • Experience selling across the APAC region.
  • Strong communication skills; fluent English speaker and preferably one Southeast Asian regional language.
