Job Title: Design Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced design drafter to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and Revit models for various projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, with excellent skills in AutoCAD and Revit. You should also have a good understanding of building information modeling (BIM) and be proficient in using software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and Revit models for various projects
  • Draft shop drawings, construction details, and as-built drawings based on design team inputs
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure design compatibility
  • Convert conceptual sketches into detailed technical drawings ready for submission
  • Update drawing revisions and maintain drawing registers/documentation
  • Support BIM integration and assist the design head in tender submissions

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) is essential
  • Minimum 1–3 years drafting experience, preferably in MEP or drainage systems, is necessary to meet industry expectations
  • Good understanding of building construction and coordination with architectural drawings is crucial for success
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is vital, with strong organizational and time management skills
