We are an IT support group that provides exceptional services to our clients. We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Executive to assist with Ship Spares logistics operations, create jobs, and provide customer service.
This role involves being involved with all customer requirements from A-Z, ensuring timely and accurate responses to RFQs and other general inquiries from GAC's overseas networks and local departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in giving prompt and accurate responses to RFQs and any other general inquiries from GAC's overseas networks and local departments.
- Taking full ownership of all operational logistics requirements from booking/pre-alert to PO management, delivery, invoicing, and customs clearance.
- Ensuring proper cargo handling, shipping documentation, expediting, and timely alerts to agents, customers, and contractors in Singapore and beyond.
- Preparing, suggesting, and maintaining customer Standard Operating Procedures.
- Creating job files and invoicing to clients.
- Ensuring timely billing from vendors and verification of supplier invoices and job costing.
- Achieving and improving KPIs set for the department.
- Providing support to obtain and collate information for tenders when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications.
- A minimum of 2-3 years in logistics operations function (Marine & Ship Spares Logistics experience highly preferred).
- Street-smart and proactive individual.
- Excellent multi-communicator and listener.
- Possess high integrity.
- Good knowledge of the freight forwarding and energy project industry with an interest in continuous learning.
- Good team player.
- Able to build rapport and good relationships with clients.
