Job Title: Project Director


Role Overview:


The role of the Senior Vice President, Project Management Office will be to reinforce the execution capacity in Singapore and other geographical areas. The candidate will manage and support the development and construction of projects from inception to execution and construction, ensuring sound governance and best-in-class implementation standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Reinforce the execution capacity in Singapore and other geographical areas.
  • Manage and support the development and construction of projects from inception to execution and construction, ensuring sound governance and best-in-class implementation standards.
  • Coordinate projects with functional experts, contractors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Work with technical and engineering teams to oversee project development and construction.
  • Oversee project execution, addressing any technical issues, proposing possible solutions, and evaluating the best means for resolution.
  • Be involved in M&A transactions, integrating newly acquired entities, standardizing project management practices, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving efficiency.
  • Proactively flag risks and potential blockers, determining paths to mitigation/resolution/escalation.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in relevant project management leadership roles with at least 15 years' experience with solar, wind, and BESS projects in Asia Pacific.
  • Demonstratable experience managing M&A in Asia Pacific in renewable energy.
  • Masters in sustainable energy, energy engineering, and energy management or a similar/strong equivalent discipline.
  • Commercially and technically minded.
  • Experience in reviewing, evaluating, and presenting key reports to the Executive Committee.
  • Experience in managing multicultural teams with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity.
