Job Title: Automotive Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Specialist to join our team. As an Automotive Service Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring all service tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and correctly according to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned service tasks and ensure completion of all work in the field or at customer sites.
  • Plan work procedures using related technical literature and personal experience.
  • Pre-order parts and materials required for assigned repairs.
  • Maintain a clean work area and properly use and take care of workplace equipment.
  • Ensure tools and special equipment used on repairs are clean before being returned and returned to original location in working condition.
  • Maintain the field vehicle in a manner aimed at ensuring proper operations and condition, clean and cosmetically pleasing manner as per guidelines.
  • Work safely and use safe techniques, and be responsible for on-the-job safety practices.
  • Maintain proper job documentation, including working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs.
  • Record daily activities from the field, even when not returning to the office daily.
  • Complete repairs in accordance with performance standards guidelines set by the industry.
  • Report additional work found on machines and notify supervisor regarding the progress of the repair job.
  • Ensure all unused parts and materials are returned as per company guidelines.
  • Lead work of apprentice/trainee technicians as assigned.
  • Conduct oneself in a proper business manner reflecting respect and honesty and contribute to building excellent customer relationships.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
