Role Summary

The Lead Marine Efficiency Strategist will drive the successful execution of the Marine Performance Strategy, aligning with goals for improved operational efficiency and reduced emissions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement marine efficiency and emissions reduction programmes, contributing towards delivering long-term net-zero shipping emissions goals.
  • Lead monitoring and optimisation of voyage performance across all owned and chartered vessels, leveraging data analytics and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategy development and execution of the next phase of the operational efficiency programme, including installations of Energy Saving Devices (ESDs), voyage charter optimisations, and chartering guidance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Accountable for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the vessel fleet, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Leads a team of Fleet Performance Advisors, Data Analytics Advisor, and a Fleet Manager, fostering effective resource allocation, activity prioritization, and team development.
