About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at Microsoft Regional Sales PTE. LTD. as a Senior Specialist. As a key member of our Security Specialists team, you will play a pivotal role in providing end-to-end security thought leadership, delivering substantial customer value, and facilitating transformative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution
    • Bring impactful cybersecurity insights into customer engagements and close deals with customers. Act as a thought leader across cybersecurity solution areas to advise customers across business functions on digital transformation.
    • Lead virtual transformational shifts to drive deployment and create business value for customers. May lead partner integration into account/territory planning and customer engagements.
    • Provide thought leadership in the cybersecurity domains.
  • Scaling and Collaboration
    • Lead the planning and execution on cybersecurity opportunities with resources and partners to cross-sell and up-sell. Identify, leverage, and coordinate partners and resources across solution areas.
    • Validate partner solution relevance for customers. Provide input and feedback to Global Partner Solutions (GPS) on developing partner strategies and connect the partner ecosystems to scale business results.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Presales experience in XDR & SIEM, knowledge of cross-cloud Security and Security Operations.
    • Expertise in Threat Hunting Capabilities.
    • Lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft. Mentor others and develop strategies for best practice sharing across subsidiaries.
    • Contribute ideas that can be instituted across Microsoft.
    • Post information or speak at external events, drive conversations with prospective customers/partners as a thought leader across solution areas.
    • Leverage and share competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal.
  • Sales Excellence
    • Build and transform new markets by leveraging technical and industry expertise, partners, and resources. Lead a team to explore business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and facilitate customer innovation.
    • Review feedback report and set long-term strategies aimed at maintaining levels of client satisfaction. Coach others on ensuring customer/partner satisfaction and decreasing dissatisfaction by establishing recovery action plans to improve clients' overall experience.
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings to review and plan for strategic accounts across territories.
    • Collaborate with extended sales team, partners, and marketing to lead business analysis (e.g., whitespace analysis, identify industry trends) to pursue high-potential customers and develop a target list of potential business.
    • Act as a thought leader and clear opinions and perspectives from business analysis.
    • Manage the end-to-end business for strategic accounts across the organization. Lead forecasting for accounts and develop a portfolio and territory plan to drive intentional selling with on-strategy engagements in high propensity accounts.
    • Mentor less experienced team members.
    Requirements
    • 10+ years technology-related presales experience in XDR & SIEM.
    • Knowledge of cross-cloud Security, threat hunting, Governance, Compliance & Risk as well as Data Security & Security Operations.
    • Relevant academic qualifications.
    • Experience in companies such as Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks, Google / Mandiant, Splunk will be desirable.
