Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Failure Analysis Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts to investigate and resolve electrical failures in next-generation memory technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team to analyze failures and conduct electrical tests
  • Verifying failures and using physical failure analysis techniques
  • Collaborating with global engineering teams to identify best-known methods
  • Driving failure analysis initiatives for the yield improvement team
  • Developing new methodologies and capabilities

You will become a domain expert on physical failure analysis methods for any given electrical failure.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge and direct experience with nonvolatile memories
  • Theoretical and/or operational knowledge of scanning electron microscopes (SEM), focused ion beam (FIB), Transmission emission microscopes (TEM), and Elemental Analysis (EDS, EELS)
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C, or C++ is preferred
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and JMP statistic software is beneficial
  • Solid analysis, communication, and reporting abilities with demonstrated presentation skills
