Residential Technical Specialist

The role of Residential Technical Specialist is to oversee the delivery of premium hospitality and luxury residential projects. Key responsibilities include safeguarding design intent, ensuring finish quality, and executing high-spec finishes.

Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Supervise and manage premium trades including natural stone, large-format tiles, timber/veneer joinery, architectural metalwork, specialty plaster/wallpaper, acoustic ceilings, bespoke doors/ironmongery, smart/feature lighting, glazing & balustrades, roofing/waterproofing. \
  • Enforce best practices for wet areas including bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and planters. \
  • Coordinate colour/finish schedules, sample boards, and material submittals to ensure consistency across projects. \
  • Pre-empt and resolve interfaces between ID, MEP, Façade, and Operator teams. \
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and QA documentation to protect design intent while meeting buildability and programme requirements. \
  • Coordinate FF&E installation and OS&E provisions for hotels. \
  • Verify brand/operator standards and accessibility requirements are integrated into project deliverables.

Requirements:\
  • \
  • Accreditation: Valid RTO (Architectural/C&S) accreditation with IES/ACES. \
  • Education: Diploma in Architecture / Interior Architecture / Building / Construction Management or equivalent. \
  • Experience: ≥ 10 years in architectural site supervision, with at least one completed high-end hotel or luxury apartment project. \
  • Technical Strengths: Premium finishes QA, Wet-area detailing, ID-façade interface control, and Reading/coordinating ID packages.

Preferred Qualifications:\
  • \
  • Comfortable with MS 365, AutoCAD, Revit, and digital field tools such as BIM 360/Plangrid/Bluebeam. \
  • WSQ Supervise Work in WSH or BCSS preferred. \
  • Meticulous eye for detail, assertive on standards, proactive coordination, clear documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
