Job Summary

DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our LCS Analytics team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in reviewing and optimizing screening detection logic and algorithms for all countries where DBS has presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with bank-wide stakeholders to improve customer experience, drive efficiencies, and effectiveness.
  • Actively partner with stakeholders and Technology team on various technical projects, aligning to strategic direction and resolving issues.
  • Deliver analysis on key volume drivers, trends, and condense analysis into actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Provide support in ensuring that all audit and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Prepare proper documentation in the project and testing results, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Explain requirements, track backlog and user stories delivery using an Agile framework for system development.
  • Conduct user testing and track all known issues, working with technology to drive resolution within sprint timelines.
  • Ensure data quality integrity for effective screening purposes.
  • Ensure robustness in system screening, risk, and issues are documented and meet high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in financial services, consulting, or like industries.
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and inquisitive with good problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial acumen supported by a data-driven mindset.
  • Working experience in Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and Big Data environment.
  • Experience in complex projects spanning IT, Analytics, and Business areas.
  • Good presentation and communication skills - able to explain technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Relationship management skills with strong teamwork focus to enable cross-functional collaboration and external partner effectiveness.
