Job Description:

The Investment Advisor is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional investment advice and asset allocation solutions to our clients. The role requires close collaboration with Relationship Managers to provide top-notch investment advice and optimize client portfolios.

As an Investment Advisor, you will be responsible for generating positive client performance according to their risk profile, considering their explicit requirements and adding value by proactively managing risks and opportunities.

The incumbent shall also contribute towards the growth of assets under management for the team and build highly effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality investment advice and asset allocation solutions to clients
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to optimize client portfolios
  • Generate positive client performance according to client risk profiles
  • Contribute towards the growth of assets under management for the team
  • Build effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong academic education in economics, business, finance, or financial engineering
  • Further education in financial markets (CFA, ESG etc.) is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in the financial industry, with background as an experienced Investment Advisor managing clients in ISC / NRI & PBI market
  • In-depth knowledge on the ISC / NRI & PBI market, as well as knowledge and experience covering equities, fixed income, funds, SP and FX from perspective of the assigned client base groups
  • Strong fundamentals across all asset classes and investment products and experience in applying a global portfolio approach across all asset classes
  • Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and broad understanding of the financial market and products
  • Regulatory compliance and MAS licensed representative
