Global Cybersecurity Lead

Description:

The Director of Global Cybersecurity is responsible for overseeing and managing the threat hunting, detection engineering and platform engineering teams to implement a top-class cybersecurity program globally.

This role involves developing a global cybersecurity strategy and roadmap, implementing a comprehensive threat hunting program, establishing detection and platform engineering to achieve the program objectives, and collaborating with global cybersecurity teams to build a robust and resilient cyber defence posture.

This role is required to work closely with Global SOC, Threat Intelligence and Incident Response operations to ensure effective response to global incidents, collaborate with technology Infrastructure stakeholders on the engineering front, and provide thought leadership on global initiatives such as unifying the threat detection framework and logging standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Global Cybersecurity Centre operations, ensuring threat hunting programs that are intel-led, continuous and effective to enable timely detection of security threats across the globe.
  • Develop and implement a global cybersecurity strategy and roadmap to drive the adoption of industry-leading security practices.
  • Establish detection and platform engineering capabilities to support the threat hunting program and enhance the overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Collaborate with global cybersecurity teams to build a robust and resilient cyber defence posture, including the development of incident response plans and procedures.
  • Provide thought leadership on global initiatives, such as unifying the threat detection framework and logging standards, to drive consistency and efficiency in cybersecurity operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading and managing cybersecurity teams and developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.
  • Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, including threat hunting, detection engineering and platform engineering.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cybersecurity teams and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, standards and regulations, including NIST, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
