Geography Teacher Position

This is a dynamic opportunity to teach Geography across both the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP).

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons, differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum units.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Geography in a forward-thinking and multicultural environment that values academic excellence and global citizenship.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IB standards and the school's strategic goals.
  • Use assessment data to inform instructional planning and improve student learning outcomes.
  • Cultivate students' curiosity and creativity through experiential learning and real-world applications.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Geography or a closely related field.
  • IB MYP and DP Geography certification.
  • 3+ years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB World School setting.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
