Job Title: Print Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Print Production Supervisor to oversee the production of high-quality printed materials. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate printing staff across all shifts to ensure seamless production processes.

  • Monitor production schedules to guarantee on-time completion of print jobs while maintaining quality standards.

  • Inspect printed materials to verify compliance with specifications and identify areas for improvement.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

  • Train new staff on printing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Manage inventory of printing supplies and initiate orders when necessary to maintain a sufficient stock level.

  • Prepare reports on production output, quality issues, and staff performance to provide valuable insights for future improvements.

  • Partner with the QA team to conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for quality non-conformance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Supervisor or Section Head in a printing plant, or at least 5 years as a Senior Operator in sheetfed printing.

  • Strong knowledge of prepress-to-print workflow is mandatory.

  • Proficient in operating common sheetfed printing press brands such as Mitsubishi, Ryobi MHI, Heidelberg, ManRoland, KBA, and Komori.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
