Maintenance Professional

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced handyman to take on a range of maintenance tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

This includes general handyman duties such as plumbing repairs, plastering, and painting walls and ceilings. The ideal candidate will also have basic carpentry skills and be able to support the installation of equipment and minor renovation works.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general handyman duties including:
    • Plumbing repairs (e.g., pipe leaks, tap replacements, clearing chokes)
    • Plastering, patching, and painting walls and ceilings
    • Basic carpentry and furniture repair
    • Support installation of equipment and minor renovation works
  • Maintain records of work performed and report completed tasks
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safety standards and procedures
  • Respond to emergency repair calls and attend to ad-hoc assignments when required
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repair work when needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in general handyman work
  • Good hands-on knowledge in plumbing, plastering, basic carpentry, and painting
  • Physical work required
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces if needed
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work morning shifts, afternoon shifts, and night shifts
