The role of a Body Movement Therapist involves applying various techniques to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles and facilitate the elimination of toxins through manual manipulation of body tissues using methods such as kneading, rubbing and stroking.

Effective interpersonal skills are crucial in this position, ensuring professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Clear instructions must be provided on exercises and treatments, while recommending activities or therapies that cater to individual needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver massages and administer other body conditioning treatments for therapeutic or hygienic purposes
  • Utilize techniques such as kneading, rubbing and stroking to stimulate blood flow, relax muscles and remove toxins
  • Guide clients on reducing or remedial exercises and recommend suitable activities or treatments
  • Examine clients and suggest personalized body conditioning programs or therapies
  • Record treatment details for clients

Requirements include:

  • Possess relevant diploma or WSQ certifications
  • Have at least 3 years of work experience
  • Able to commit to alternate weekends and public holidays
  • Available for overtime and potentially long hours if required

Work Schedule: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM including breaks and meals. Personal Qualities:

  • Demonstrate physical stamina necessary for massage work
