Job Title: Technical Services Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Technical Services Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional technical support to our users.

  • This position involves performing device setup and decommissioning, including preparing laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for new joiners and handling offboarding and secure data wipes.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting skills are essential in this role, with tasks including diagnosing hardware issues, replacing basic parts such as RAM, SSDs, and batteries, and resolving software problems.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, updating, and supporting applications like Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, and Adobe, as well as maintaining license records.
  • Inventory management is also a critical component of this role, involving tracking, assigning, and auditing IT equipment and accessories.
  • User support is another key aspect of this position, with duties including resolving Level 1 tickets, resetting passwords, and assisting users both onsite and remotely.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure AD, and will be able to enroll and manage devices, configure compliance policies, and handle user/group management.
  • SharePoint Online skills are also desirable, with responsibilities including building and maintaining intranet sites, collaborating on content structure, managing permissions, and training users.
  • Cybersecurity support is another important aspect of this role, with tasks including promoting security best practices, supporting endpoint protection, responding to phishing incidents, and helping enforce MFA and policies.
  • Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to take on ad-hoc assignments to enhance digital solutions and optimize processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and iOS device setup.
